Centerstage is a full-service production company headquartered in Chicago. While they've produced stunning events for some of the world's largest brands, their visual identity no longer reflected the quality and scale of their work. In 2019, Centerstage tasked Bom Bom to reimagine their brand from the ground up. In 2024, they returned for another overhaul to refresh their look.

If It Ain't Broke
Although it wasn’t updated this time around, the prior logo redesign still packs a punch. It represents evenly balanced folds in the brain and contains a hidden "C" and "S."

The new design language is functional and minimal, relying almost exclusively on text and negative space. Centerstage’s exacting attention to detail is communicated by conforming layouts to a 12 column grid, enforcing unique relationships between visual elements and the space between them. Supporting brand colors were chosen to reflect trends in the automotive industry, a core audience for Centerstage.

Given the brand’s stark new visual language, motion was appointed to push the Centerstage website to the next level. Animations are subtle, but are applied across the system. When taken together, each small moment amounts to a site that feels responsive and alive.
